Upper pools: Long Walk, Boulders and Finnpool, were tested. Water level is wonderful everywhere. Fishing is comfortable and not very heavy lines could be used. Unfortunately, there were no fresh fish caught. All flies were attacked by kelts. Only autumn run salmon, landed on Boulders, mixed it up. Fish of standard size was in good conditions and fought back well. There’s not so much snow on the paths, you can easily walk along the banks on the pool. There’s no ice anywhere already. Water temperature is +3C, what is absolutely normal for this time of the season.
